Tim Shinabarger is an award-winning American sculptor and painter internationally known for his portrayals of wildlife. Today, his works in bronze can be found in major museums and private collections, including the Autry National Center's Museum of the American West in Los Angeles and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Wyoming.
About this bronze:
The Bull Moose has been a subject I have returned to many times. As my skills as a sculptor develop, I find a need to reinterpret this gangly prince of the northern forests. They have such interesting form, proportions, and attitude that my thirst for this challenge is never quite satisfied. The trick is to always have something new to say and not repeat what has already been done. To develop an eye catching composition, pleasing gesture, and find a variety of ways to apply the clay as to help breathe a soul and life into the piece. Fortunately, there is so much to say about this symbol of the northern wilderness that I love so much.
The bronze is #52 of an edition of 100.

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. The Boone and Crockett Club assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until the Boone and Crockett Club bank confirms full payment has been received. Any bid made at a Boone and Crockett Club auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, on-line or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction.

All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by the Boone and Crockett Club. The Boone and Crockett Club shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, the Boone and Crockett Club cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States.
