Deep South Spring Turkey Hunt

This is a three day turkey hunt for one hunter in the spring of 2021 at a date that is mutually agreed upon. This hunt is for a mature Eastern Gobbler. The successful bidder will fly into Tallahassee, FL and I will arrange to pick them up at the airport. Accommodations will be provided at Live Oak with Daphne and me for the duration of the hunt. This is a three day/three night hunt with the bidder arriving the afternoon prior to the beginning of the hunt. We will hunt both morning and afternoon until the hunter has his bird in hand. After that, we can continue to hunt turkeys up to a two bird limit, hunt wild hogs, or go bass fishing. I can supply all of the necessary equipment for all of the above activities which precludes the successful bidder from having to travel with firearms or fishing tackle.
This hunt includes all lodging, meals and drinks at Live Oak Plantation, transport to and from the airport and trophy transport to my local taxidermist if the bidder is successful. The bidder is urged to bring their own camouflage clothing and turkey calls if proficient with them. I will personally guide and call for them on the hunt. Success rate has run 100% on birds called in and 80% on shots taken for the past four years. It is easy to miss a big gobblers head at 15 yards when turkey fever sets in!
The hunt will be characterized by beautiful spring mornings, plenty of gobbling to listen to, good food, classically mixed drinks, a comfortable four-poster bed and great camaraderie in the Deep South. The costs to the successful bidder will be airfare, Georgia and Florida hunting licenses and taxidermy expense if that is desired to preserve a trophy bird. The value of this hunt is priceless as will be the laughter, fun and games!

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. The Boone and Crockett Club assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until the Boone and Crockett Club bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction.

Any bid made at a Boone and Crockett Club auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, on-line or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1% per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late.
Most goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by the Boone and Crockett Club, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold “AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of the Boone and Crockett Club. The Boone and Crockett Club provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. The Boone and Crockett Club does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by the Boone and Crockett Club. The Boone and Crockett Club shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, the Boone and Crockett Club cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. The Boone and Crockett Club cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the state, province or country they are hunting.
