Donated by Professional Member Mark Bara, this over/under shotgun was made in 1968, and the bores still shine like the promise of tomorrow. Features abound, including 26.5-inch barrels with fixed chokes (IC/M), single-bead vent rib, 3-inch chambers, ejectors, single inertia trigger and a manual safety with selector. Weight is 7.2 pounds, drops are 1.4 and 2.25 inches, length-of-pull is 14.25 inches and cast off is approximately .25 inches. Serial number—51751V8.
It may be a half-century old, but it is in amazing shape. There is no evidence of salt or salt mitigation. It rests in a Browning factory takedown case (with key). The barrels rest full on face and the opening lever rests to the right. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent. Wood is approximately 95 percent, with an impression near the receiver. It has some light varnish crazing around the guard and hairline chipping lines at the tang.

Any bid made at a Boone and Crockett Club auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, on-line or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid.
