Valid for travel in 2026, this 10-day photographic safari is designed for two travelers (double occupancy) and explores Namibia’s last true frontiers, where the land holds stories older than borders. Best experienced July through September, when wildlife is at its peak in the remote Zambezi Region. Hosted by founder Traci Ingersoll and privately guided by expert and professional hunter Barend Dorfling, this journey includes full-board lodging, a private 4x4 vehicle, guided wildlife tracking, game drives, river cruise, and the freedom to move at your own pace. The itinerary is fully customizable, with options to extend, upgrade, add private charters, or include additional travelers at added cost. All accommodations are subject to availability at booking.

Your journey begins with two nights at Naankuse in the bushveld of Khomas Highlands—a private reserve outside Windhoek where open horizons and tracking rhinos on foot offer a grounded introduction into the wild. From here, fly North to the remote Mpacha airstrip in the Zambezi, part of the vast KAZA corridor, where over 200,000 elephants roam freely across five countries. Spend three nights on the Okavango River at Mahangu, exploring the floodplains and riverine forests of Bwabwata National Park. This region is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, and plains game that still follow ancient migration routes long before modern maps laid claim.

Continue deeper into the wild with three nights at Jackalberry Tented Camp in Nkasa Rupara, Namibia’s largest wetland wilderness— an undiscovered corner of the country few travelers ever reach. Threaded with floodplain channels and seasonal lagoons, this remote landscape offers rare sightings of African wild dogs, sable antelope, an array of predators, and abundant herds of plains game, moving freely as they did when early explorers tracked the land with nothing but instinct and time. End your journey with two nights across the border in Zimbabwe at Batonka in Victoria Falls, where the mighty Zambezi River continues to carve its ancient gorge. Standing at the edge of Africa’s greatest wonder, you’ll carry the story of where you’ve been and feel the call to return.
